Adam is our longest-serving rafting guide!
Originally from New Zealand, Adam's first green season was in 2010. He had met his wife in New Zealand and travelled here with her and absolutely loved it.
Adam's been travelling back and forth between New Zealand and Japan ever since.
What does your day-to-day look like?
I do a mixture of things from training guides to running tours and working on maintenance.
What's your favourite part of being a raft guide?
Seeing people get out of their comfort zone and challenge themselves.
Why should people try rafting in Japan?
To see the beauty of the countryside. A lot of people may think that Japan is all big cities but there's a lot of hidden gems outside of the cities.
What's one of your favourite rafting memories?
Taking my kids rafting for the first time!
