Canyons provide YEAR-ROUND adventure education options taking advantage of what each season has to offer to build your personalised course.
We offer adventure challenges which:

All with the natural environment as our setting
Our team of experienced facilitators have backgrounds in leadership training, motivation, personal development, environment, science, geography, and culture.
All of these elements are drawn upon to construct a program that is tailor-made to fit the curriculum and learning objectives of your group. We can guarantee a rich experience for all participants involved.
Our programs are based on international standards of safety management.

We began working with Canyons in 2018. We've had great experiences both Trekking and Snowshoeing. Canyons local and overseas staff are very knowledgeable and professional and possess brilliant technical and facilitation skills. Canyons are developing into a superb educational partner for UWCSEA's Outdoor Education Programme. We look forward to continuing to work with them to provide great adventures for our students.

Our school has been bringing an entire high school grade to Canyons for over five years, and we have never left disappointed. We do a 'start of the year' adventure trip (August/September) and it always sets the tone for a wonderful year ahead. There is no better place to be in Japan at that time of year! From canyoning to hiking, and rafting to biking, Canyons offers a very unique experience to our students. Many of them arrive with next to no experience in these activities (and even less confidence), but by the end of the trip they are begging to stay another day or two. The Canyons staff are extremely professional, kind, and always entertaining. The food is FANTASTIC and plentiful, and everyone sleeps well in the cosy lodging. We are excited to go yet again at the start of the next school year and enjoy another few days of beautiful greenery, cool water, and fresh air!
