ENGLISH SKI & SNOWBOARD LESSONS

Hodaigi is the biggest ski resort in Minakami and with a maximum elevation of 1400m altitude is well known for its consistency and quality snow.

With a good variety of terrain ranging from mellow to steeps, Hodaigi will provide an amazing experience for all-level skiers and snowboarders. If you are starting out in skiing or snowboarding then this is one of the best resorts to learn at.

*Note: Your lesson request will be checked by a member of our team and a payment invoice sent via email if the lesson is available. We require full payment to confirm your instructor and requested lesson time slot. Our office hours are between 08:30-17:00, if you make a request after 17:00 you will be contacted the following day.

Available: Every day; for all ability levels (Levels 1 - 6)

Start times: Vary depending on lesson length 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00

Minimum age: Ski - 4 years old, Snowboard - 6 years old

Capacity per instructor: 1 - 6 participants

Pricing per instructor

  • 2 hours - 32,000 JPY

  • 3 hours - 42,000 JPY

  • 6 hours - 70,000 JPY

  • Premium full day - 90,000 JPY*

  • Extra hour - 16,000 JPY

Premium full day:

  • Available from first to last lift at chosen resort (daytime only)

  • Pick up service (limited availability)

  • Lift tickets and rental are not included in the price and are to be prepared before the lesson start time.

  • INSURANCE: The price of the lesson does not include accident insurance. Please obtain travel insurance to cover snowsports and all participants. We recommend ALL lesson participants have travel insurance.

Access Information

The Kanetsu Expressway (toll road) runs through Minakami. The journey from Nerima IC in northern Tokyo to Minakami IC will take approximately 2 hours without traffic.  Hodaigi Ski Resort is located 19km away from Minakami IC.
