Prices are per instructor, not per person, for up to 6 people of a similar ability. A 3-hour morning lesson is ¥45,000, a 3-hour afternoon lesson is ¥36,000, a 6-hour full day is ¥75,000, and a Premium Full Day with pick-up and drop-off from your accommodation is ¥90,000. Lift tickets and rentals are not included.

Yes. Our instructors teach every level, from first-timers to advanced riders. Ski lessons start from age 3 and snowboard lessons from age 6. For the best lesson, keep each group to people of a similar age and ability who all ski or all snowboard.

Morning and afternoon lessons run in the Central and Yakebitai areas. Full-day and Premium Full Day lessons can use every ski area in the Shiga Kogen region, so your instructor can pick the best snow and terrain on the day.

Yes. Lessons are taught by experienced international instructors in English. If you would like a lesson in another language, ask us when you book and we will do our best to match you with the right instructor.

Yes. Private backcountry tours with certified mountain guides run from 15 January to 15 March and cost ¥120,000 for up to 4 people, plus ¥30,000 per extra person (maximum 6). Private snowshoe tours cost ¥33,000 for 3 hours for 1–6 people aged 6 and over, with the guide, insurance, snowshoes and poles included.
