Packraft Lake Lv1 Course (Okutama)

With you in control, thoughts of your daily life will slip away and you will find yourself in touch with nature. Expect to be relaxed, refreshed and pleasantly surprised. The Lake Course is your gateway into the world of packrafting. Master the skills on the still water of the lake, build up your confidence and then when you are ready the river packrafting courses awaits.

    1. Welcome to Canyons Okutama Arrive at our base by car or shuttle bus and meet our reception staff. Once you have checked in using our ipad system and paid for your adventure you will meet your guide

    2. Tour Briefing Your guide for the day will give a tour brief, then it's off to get changed into your wetsuit, lifejacket, helmet and grab a paddle. Let's get into the bus for a short ride and start your packrafting adventure!

Hot Spring

Relax in a soothing hot spring (onsen).
Although Okutama is not famous for its hot springs there are a few reals gems that are a great way to relax after a canyoning adventure, especially in the colder months (April and October) Moegi no Yu is a fantastic onsen facility very close to Okutama Station. After a dip you can also check out the craft beer cafe Vetere.
