A pleasant 45 minute hike provides access to a plethora of open runs. Perfect for first time backcountry riders.
A strong emphasis is placed on education, with time spent explaining safe travel in BC, use of BC equipment (esp. beacons), snow stability and safe riding techniques.

A step up from the introductory tour, the intermediate BC tour involves longer hikes and accesses steeper terrain and tree runs. Perfect for those that have confidence in riding powder and are wanting to learn more about the backcountry.

Tour Time & Meeting Area:    
 
   
 
Difficulty:
Intermediate skier/boarder on piste(skifield). Can turn and stop confidently and control speed in 25°+ terrain.
Expert skier on piste (skifield). Can confidently handle all terrain.
Have experience in powder and off piste skiing and confident in steep mounatin terrain.
Fitness:  

Can hike for up to 30 mins in the snow.
Can hike for 30 mins to 1 hour in the snow.
Can hike for more than 3 hours a day in the snow.
