Alpine Lodge is situated in the mountain township of Minakami, in the North of Gunma Prefecture. Minakami is Japan's premiere four season adventure resort, packed with hot springs, adventure tours and ski resorts..
The lodge is primely located in the Yubiso area (valley of the hidden hot springs), which lies in the center of Minakami's 9 ski resorts, and at the entrance to Joshinetsu National Park (Japn's second largest). It is the perfect place to base yourself for one of the many adventure tours offered in Minakami, or exploring the amazing nature and hot springs.

From Minakami IC off Kanetsu Expressway
Take R291 towards Tanigawadake
Pass the Minakami Town Hall and after 2km turn right at the Oana Traffic Lights
You'll see Canyons on the other side of the river. Take the first left after the bridge
