Canyons Kusatsu base is located in Kunimura, just 15 minutes from the centre of Kusatsu. The base is situated directly above the amazing "Deer Canyon" with the surrounding hills and mountains providing a labyrinth of mountainbiking tracks, all engulfed in native Japanese forest . All of this with amazing mountain views of the famous volcanoes, Mt. Shirane (above photo) and Mt. Asama.

The area is famous for hot springs with over 200 different baths to choose from including a the famous Shiriyaki onsen, a hot spring that permeates into a river creating a naturally heated river.

	Half Day Canyoning
Negotiate your way down steep canyons by abseiling and jumping waterfalls and cliffs, cascading down natural chutes and swimming through crystal clear pools. 80% of the time is spent in the water. A refreshing and envigourating adventure!

	Full Day Canyoning
If half a day of action is not enough and you want to make the most out of your day, then the full day Deer Canyon course is for you. More waterfalls and more adventure!
